After having the best several days in a row filled with friends, great food, a walk on the beach, and more food, I found out the best news tonight. Music to my ears actually. After almost two long years my court case has finally settled! If you don't know what I'm talking about you can read the old post here. Since I was in a somber mood that day disregard the gloom and raise a glass to new beginnings and happy endings! Cheers.

where were you in la? (i'm in la as well and i'm terrified of walking across the street.) a friend of mine was struck on his bike and almost died and they still haven't found the guy who hit him.

Krista, first of all, I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. My situation was not nearly that bad but can relate to the fear and anxiety that I'm sure resulted from his accident.
ReplyDeleteMy accident happened in Echo Park/Angelino Heights on Bellevue Ave. blocks away from our house at the time.
Oh.. and yes I am sooo happy to be on the other side of it for sure. I realized tonight that I hadn't recognized what a strong hold this event and the aftermath have had on me. I feel so happy to put it behind me and move forward and to always remember to look both ways and in the opposite direction of traffic. The guy who hit me was driving backwards. Always have to stay on your toes in LA. Hope that didn't scare you :)
