One of my favorite songs too! For an alternate, no-fooling commitment, expression of obsessive love there is Etta James' song: I'd Rather Go Blind (than to see you walk away from me.) I also love Big Mamma Thorton's version of Hound Dog. Once during dental work,listening to music, and under the influence of lots of nitreous oxide, I realized that most songs are about Love in all its stages and guises. Says something about humanity.
